Canada Skilled Migration - Express Entry

We choose skilled immigrants as permanent residents based on their ability to settle in Canada and take part in our economy. There is a new system to manage how people with skilled work experience apply to immigrate to Canada. It is called Express Entry.

POTENTIAL CANDIDATES

To check their eligibility potential candidates are assessed on below parameters  before applying:

·        skills,

·        work experience,

·        language ability,

·        education, and

·        other details that will help us assess them.

Those who meet the criteria of one of the federal immigration programs will be accepted into a pool of candidates.

INVITATION TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCY

Candidates will be ranked against others in the pool using a point-based system. Points are awarded using the information in their profile.

Candidates with the highest scores in the pool will be issued an invitation to apply.

Candidates can stay in the pool for up to 12 months. If they do not get an invitation to apply for permanent residence within 12 months of submitting an Express Entry profile, they may submit a new profile. If they still meet the criteria, they can re-enter the pool. This will prevent backlogs and ensure quick processing times.

Note: If you meet the entry criteria for the Express Entry pool, you are not guaranteed an invitation to apply for permanent residence. All applicants for permanent residence also need to meet eligibility and admissibility requirements under Canada’s immigration law (Immigration and Refugee Protection Act).

Understanding Permanent Residency Visa (PR Visa)

Permanent residency refers to a person's resident status in a country of which they are not a citizen of. Australia and Canada are two such countries that provide skilled workers an opportunity to permanently migrate and avail nearly all the benefits offered by these countries to its citizens.

The rights offered by Australia and Canada to its citizens/ Permanent Residents are decided by its governing bodies. The basic rights that permanent residents have include medical coverage, child’s education, retirement benefits, getting paid by the government for being unemployed and many more.  There are certain rights that are offered only to its Citizens, for instance, vote or run a political office, hold some jobs that need a high-level security clearance.

Permanent residency (PR Visa) for someone gets activated on the very first entry in that country and is valid for a period of 5 years. One is allowed to make multiple entries and exits during this period and is free to work, live and study anywhere in that country. A permanent resident can live outside the country of their PR, but must live in that country for at least 2 years in a period of 5 years.  If one lives outside the country of their PR for a longer time, they may lose the permanent resident status.

Why Canada is a popular immigration choice of millions

Canada is one of the most popular countries that people choose to immigrate to as it has excellent job opportunities as well as opportunities for personal growth. It is indeed a country for those in search of a better and calm quality of life.

Here are the reasons why Canada appeals to everyone:

  1. Canadian immigration rules are not as rigorous and tedious when compared to other countries which makes it much easier to qualify and process an application. Even in the times of world recession, Canada has not cut down on its immigration quota.

  2. Canada has a dynamic range of programs for immigration. Skilled category (Express Entry), self-employed and business categories (Canada Investor Visa or Canada Entrepreneur Visa) being the most popular of them all. For those not qualifying under the above-mentioned immigration programs, the country still offers non-immigrant options such as student programs (Canada Student Visa) or Work Permits (requires job offer to apply).

  3. This country also offers the most supporting social security benefits program for immigrants and their families. Canada’s educational and health facilities are among the best in the world and are highly subsidized for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR Visa) holders and citizens.

  4. Diversity can be found throughout the country, not just in certain states. As it has opened its doors for all nationalities across the globe. So it is still the biggest immigration support hub globally.

  5. A Canadian Citizen Passport holder also enjoys a visa free travel to almost all major countries across the globe.

  6. Canada permits its residents to live and work anywhere in Canada. This country allows freedom of religion, culture and language.

  7. Universal health care: meaning stress-free doctor and hospital visits, and if you get sick they won't let you die or go bankrupt. You are their responsibility!

  8. And last but not the least, Canadians are actually the politest and the happiest people ever. Believe you me, if you crash into someone on the street, you will find them apologizing to you before you realize what happened! Who wouldn't want to be a part of such a lovely place!

Australian dream- Why you need us?

One of the most common questions that all MARA agents probably face from a prospective client is why they need us? The simple answer would be that we are the experts. But unfortunately, nothing is simple and straightforward when it comes to immigration rules and regulations. While there is no rule which says that an applicant cannot complete the process on his own, it is highly recommended by the Australian Department of Immigration (DIBP) that prospective applicants seek out the services of a MARA agent to ensure their application is error free and the process is smooth.

A MARA agent can in no way guarantee a successful application. DIBP prohibits them from giving guarantees. A MARA agent’s job is to give their clients the best professional advice possible under the given circumstances so as to make the process easy and hassle free for the applicant.

The Australian Department of Immigration requires all MARA agents to go through tough training programs before they are allowed to practice. By the time they are ready to handle a case, they have been so well trained in immigration law that having a case handled by them will only ensure that your application proceeds error free. With their up-to-date knowledge of the changing rules and regulations they are able to ensure you get the best advice possible with respect to your case. You therefore benefit from their knowledge and experience.

Anyone looking for immigration assistance should, without thinking twice, register for the services of MARA agents to ensure their application is in safe hands!
